Raffles London at The OWO, United Kingdom

Delivered by JFK Signs, this project features brand and wayfinding signage that sets a benchmark for blending aesthetics and functionality in a luxury, historic setting.

As you approach the main entrance, cast bronze plaques complement the stone pillars. The polished bronze logos pop against the background and historic facade, blending traditional charm with modern branding. This allows each brand to stand out while maintaining harmony with the surrounding architecture.

Once you step inside, the attention to detail becomes even more evident. The interiors are packed with luxury materials and exude history, while the signage plays a vital role in creating an immersive, intuitive luxury experience.

The majority of the interior signage is formed from painted wooden panels with intricate detailing that echoes the building's heritage. Text and iconography are then added in brushed brass, bringing a timeless feel to life. It's clear from the start that the signage here isn’t all about function, it's also about telling the story of a beautiful, historic space.

Whether you look at the signs for lavish suites or the discreet toilet signage, the craftsmanship is flawless. Consistent material choices, thoughtful design and seamless execution transform each touchpoint into an experience.

Even spaces that are often overlooked are treated the same. Bespoke, one-off designs, such as in the deliveries area where the sign shape follows the arch of the facade, turn what could have been a mundane moment into something truly unique.

As a whole, this project is a masterclass in design consistency. It proves that every detail, no matter how insignificant it may seem, contributes to the overall experience of a place.

True luxury lies in the detail. Whether you’re designing for a boutique hotel or an upmarket retail store, always remember this: consistency and bespoke craftsmanship can transform simple functions into a cohesive story that people relate to, engage with and, most importantly, remember.
